ARIS powers IDEA FACTORY of Cyprus University of Technology

We are thrilled to be a part of the IDEA FACTORY program for the fifth year in a row, assisting the students at the Cyprus University of Technology in developing their business ideas!

IDEA FACTORY is a 12-week (Spring semester) program that guides student teams through the basic stages of new venture creation, including idea generation, idea mapping, concept development and testing, business planning, and business pitching.

IDEA FACTORY runs within the ‘New Enterprise Creation’ module of the BA Management, of the Department of management, Entrepreneurship and Digital Business, at the Cyprus University of Technology and is coordinated by Dr. Elias Hadjielias.

ARIS supports the program by providing mentorship to the student teams and by running a series of practical seminars and interactive workshops on the following thematics:

  • Business Model Canvas and Concept Statement
  • Concept Testing
  • New Enterprise Planning
  • New Venture Pitching

The first practical seminar took place on Tuesday, January 31st, at ARIS premises. Marianna Moran, Manager at Deloitte’s Tax & Legal Department, delivered a seminar on Business Model Canvas and its practical use. The workshop that followed, involved mentoring of 10 student teams by ARIS and CUT mentors.
