On Wednesday 20 October 2021 ARIS’ new cohort of start-ups attended their first session on business and revenue models. The series of training and mentoring sessions will help the teams to expand their knowledge on some key business aspects and develop their business idea. The aim of the training was to develop a theoretical and practical understanding of what is a business model and its elements, paying attention to revenue and the process of designing the revenue model of a business. Teams were introduced to the concept of business model and the different blocks involved through the Business Model Canvas template, focusing on the different types of revenue models with the use of case studies.
